Naomi

Penology & Security Studies, Moi University

Naomi is a Legal Research Officer in the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (ODPP) in Kenya. She conducts legal research on allocated case files to ensure the prosecution process is well-informed and reasoned. She also liaises with the police and other law enforcement agencies to ensure sufficient collection of evidence.

Mesret

Water and Environmental Engineering,
Egerton University

Mesret is now a Groundwater Engineer at Well Aware; a nonprofit that funds and implements sustainable clean water systems to drive economic development in East Africa.

Shamsia

International Relations, University of Nairobi

For over three years now, Shamsia has been working with the National Drought Management Authority under the Hunger Safety Net Program as the Case Management Assistant.

She graduated with first-class honors and significant experience from her internship at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Dianah

Hotel Management, Kenya Utalii College

Dianah is now a full-time Guest and Partnership Manager at Daraja Academy. She also fosters her entrepreneurship skills as an Owner and Operator of an online clothing shop.

Dianah finished as one of the top students in her graduating class and best overall in entrepreneurship

Since Joyce was young, she lived for livestock handling. She is now more equipped with knowledge around her passion and is self-employed as a livestock attendant and supplier of veterinary medicine in her local community.

Florence is following her career path as a nurse at the County Government of Isiolo. Florence is now able to support six family members.

Ann conducts research and analysis in the energy, water and climate change sectors for a consulting firm, EED Advisory. By creating ideas and writing proposals, she assists in the business development and project implementation processes. 

Ann previously worked as a senior high school Physics and Mathematics teacher.

Veronicah

Veronicah is a detective in the Anti-Terrorism and Human Trafficking department of the Kenyan government. She has beaten all odds and nullified the dejection she once felt because not many people believed she would accomplish such dreams.
