Melissa Scott
Melissa has been team-GLOW since it’s inception. Her passion for the organization comes from her enthusiasm to help provide these girls with the life opportunities that sociocultural constraints make increasingly difficult for them to obtain. To Melissa, “Life Opportunities” means real-life success for GLOW Girls and the capacity to pass their knowledge and strength down through generations. Melissa is a graduate of the University of Texas, Austin. She has worked in sales and marketing for several publications including Variety, Martha Stewart Living, and Texas Monthly as well as the Associate Publisher for Stagebill, Performing Arts Magazine, Stagebill Family and Avenue Magazines. She now spends her time working with her family business, raising her children, and enjoying the family pups - Lucy the beagle and Bailey the lovable lab. She also is not afraid to roll up her sleeves and work cattle with her family on weekends.
