Joyce Wanjiru, completed her Diploma in Film and TV Production at the Multimedia University of Kenya, becoming the first girl in her family to achieve a college education—courtesy of her GLOW scholarship.
Throughout her career at GLOW, Joyce's milestones from Development Assistant to Operations Manager in Kenya have been characterized by substantial contributions. Under her leadership, GLOW realized an impressive 30% increase in girls' enrollment rates, dismantling barriers to education for many girls. Her visionary approach shines through in the successful development of programs inspiring personal and professional growth, which have earned recognition from Kenyan mentors and business leaders through collaborative efforts.
