Hellen Ngunjiri
Hellen supports GLOW Foundation by managing the payout of GLOW scholarships given to the beneficiaries as well as assisting with GLOW policies and the recruitment process. She has an undergraduate degree in Commerce and a Masters in Human Resources Management. Hellen loves the diversity of her work as the Director of Operations at Daraja Academy, working in finance, operations, and administration.
She views GLOW as a blessing to the girls because the cultural constraints and obstacles in the way of college are often great and heavy to bear for the girls, but GLOW helps “provide the bridge contributing to the success of the girls”. When asked what “life-opportunities” meant to Hellen, she replied, “If well-seized, life opportunities are the basis of success, they come to us at different times and levels, improving our lives each time”. Hellen enjoys reading, spending time with her family, and cooking in her free time.
